The Board shall be responsible for the efficient operation of The Association.  In addition to such other duties as may be assigned, the Board shall be the sole authority for the following:

  1. conduct of all business for the Association;
  2. appointment of officers or committees to carry out any project or business of the Association;
  3. accounting for, control of and expenditure of all funds of the Association in accordance with standard accounting procedures;
  4. collection, recording and administration of membership fees;
  5. production and issue of Association Membership Cards and Association Memorial gifts or other awards;
  6. setting rates to be charged for all goods and services, including annual dues, provided by the Association;
  7. liaison with the 2d Recon Bn. PX, suppliers and vendors, and others for the efficient management of EAGLE'S NEST services;
  8. liaison with associations and private organizations that promote our past and present military reconnaissance linkages; and
  9. Maintaining an Internet web-site to promote contact with Association members and those in the community interested in the 2d Reconnaissance Battalion and Association.
